Wedding Hair Tips

Start Thinking Early:
Firstly when it comes to deciding what style to have for your wedding day is to start thinking early. Its not the best idea to show up at the hairdressers or salon the week of your wedding and start asking about styles. If you're thinking of letting your hair grow, or adding colours or highlights you'll need time for it to grow (obviously) and any colours to test out.
Most women have dreamt about their special day since they have been little, so your hair style should be something special to you, so make sure whoever is cutting or styling it for you has the same approach. It may take patience, but can be a lot of fun getting the style right.
Top Tips:
We are trying to compile a list of top tips from the internet and through experience for those thinking about their wedding hair styles. This is the list so far...
- Ask if your hair dresser or salon deals with weddings. If they do, they will be able to help you on styles. If not, they may not give you the adequate attention you require. Be warned though, that wedding styles are more expensive, so if you are on a budget inquire about ball styles as sometimes these can be just as good but usually less expensive.
- Always get a trial done well before the wedding, this way you can alter the style or salon if you are not happy
- Make sure you check the back of the style with a hand mirror, and test to see how long the style will stay in place
- Don't worry about hurting the stylist's feelings if you are not happy with their style or custom - remember it's your day not theirs!
- Bear in mind it might be raining on the day you get your final cut or style, so make sure you have made plans so you don't get rained on before you walk down the aisle!
