wedding faq's - how we work at Aspire

How do I make a booking?

If you are interested in making a booking please ring or email us to check if the date you require is available, and then we can arrange an appointment, so you can view some complete albums and discuss your requirements. If you wish to proceed we can then finalise the booking at this appointment, or soon after.

How long will you hold a date for?

We will keep a date provisionally booked for a few days after an initial appointment, but regret that we cannot guarantee to keep a date free until we have received a deposit.

What is our payment system?

Initially, to secure a booking we will require a deposit of £100, along with a signed booking form. The deposit is non refundable if you decide to cancel your booking. The balance for the work as scheduled as well as any additional fees is due 30 days prior to the wedding ceremony - either as one payment, or spead over the months before your wedding. The final cost will include the deposit, and will vary depending on which package you have chosen.

Can we pay by debit or credit card?

Unfortunately these facilities are not available at present. We can only accept cheques made payable to "Aspire Photography", and will process orders once cheques have cleared.

Who will be photographing my wedding?

Unless otherwise stated, two photographers will be included as standard for your wedding.

How many photographs will you take?

We will take a minimum of 300 photographs on the day, but this is only a rough estimate because usually we end up taking many more. We will then digitally correct each photograph, perform basic retouching or adjusting light and colour balance if needed and then will present all the photographs to you in either colour or black and white. You will then be able to select a number of prints depending on which package you selected.

Will we be able to ask for specific photographs?

If there are any specific shots, or family groups you particularly would like then please let us know before the wedding. We always advise to make a list of required photos which we will try to work through, but we cannot absolutely guarantee any shots. We also recommend that the group shots are kept to a minimum, and that a member of family could help with getting people ready!

What kind of camera will you be using?

We are currently using the latest Nikon digital SLR cameras along with Pro lenses. All images are printed on high quality photographic paper.

What will the photographers wear?

We believe looking smart is very important so we will always wear a suit, shirt and tie, unless you would prefer otherwise.

When will our photographs be ready to view?

Your proof photographs will be able to view once you return from honeymoon, usually 14 days from the ceremony. These will either be as a hard copy or on a digital format. A small number of photographs may be available online for friends and family to view.

Can I buy additional photographs and products?

Of course, you can upgrade the number of photographs you require, or albums at any time. If required, any of our packages can be modified to suit your particular needs - and prices will be adjusted accordingly.
